Terms of service

1. The service

Horsepower is a web and mobile application for managing horse yards, paddocks, treatments, vehicles, visits and the people running your yard. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

2. Your account

You must provide an accurate email and keep your password secret. You are responsible for activity on your account and the data you put into it. You can close your account at any time from your profile; your data is removed within 30 days.

3. Subscriptions and payments

Free, Pro and Max plans are listed at /plans. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly via Stripe. Cancel any time — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; we don't refund partial periods.

4. Acceptable use

Don't use Horsepower to break the law, harass people, host illegal content, or attempt to compromise the service or other users' data.

5. Data and content

You keep ownership of everything you upload. You grant us a limited licence to store and process your data to operate the service. See the privacy policy for details.

6. Service availability

We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may schedule maintenance or change features. We'll tell you in advance about anything materially reducing what your subscription gives you.

7. Liability

Horsepower is provided "as is". To the extent allowed by law our liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Where reasonable we'll give you a chance to fix the issue first.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally; the "Effective" date reflects the current version. We'll notify you of material changes by email.
