Horsepower keeps the day-to-day of a yard in one shared place: horse records and
health history, treatments with due-date reminders, a shared calendar, feed plans,
paddock maps and turnout, yard jobs, team messaging, custom forms, practitioner
logins, lesson booking, GPS ride tracking and livery invoicing (sent from Horsepower with a pay-online link, or drafted into Xero or QuickBooks).

- Free — up to 3 horses. No card, no time limit. The whole app, not a trial.
- Pro — £9.99/month, up to 20 horses, includes livery invoicing.
- Max — £19.99/month, unlimited horses and multiple yards.
- Members, owners, sharers, helpers and practitioner logins: always free, any number.
  Charging is per yard on horse count, never per user.
- Horsepower Plus — £2.99/month or £29.99/year, optional personal add-on for GPS ride
  tracking, 1 GB of personal photo/video storage and diary media. Shared across a
  family group. The yard works fully without it.

## What it does

- [Horse records](https://horsepower.page/): passport, microchip, breeding, colour, DOB,
  height, weights over time, rug size, rider weight limit, on-rest flag, archiving.
  Other animal types too (dogs, cats, custom).
- Treatments: vet, farrier, dentist and physio history with file attachments, plus
  treatment intervals that auto-calculate the next due date and send reminders.
- Calendar and visits: shared month/day calendar, recurring visits, day-off markers,
  yard-wide requests anyone can pick up.
- Lesson booking: clients pick a length and time from an instructor's genuinely free
  hours, with changeover time held between lessons.
- Feeds, paddocks and turnout: feed-room inventory, per-horse feed plans, one-tap
  "Fed" log, paddock map, turnout plan, per-paddock resting timer.
- Office: files and versioned member forms, grouped by horse, member, treatment or vehicle.
- Messaging: whole-yard, per-yard and direct or group chats.
- My Diary: a personal journal of rides and events. Writing is free; photos, video and
  ride-route images are part of Plus.
- Vehicles: lorry, trailer and 4x4 with MOT, tax, insurance and service reminders.

  your yard in plain language. Read-only by default.

## Who it suits

Livery yards (DIY, part and full) and US boarding barns, riding schools with instructors,
private owners with one or two horses, studs and competition yards.

## Works in any country

People in more than 15 countries use Horsepower. It isn't a UK product with a translation
bolted on; it adapts to each yard's country:

- Eight languages (English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish),
  chosen per person, plus US English for US and Canadian yards: barn, board, blanket,
  half-lease, 12-hour times and month-first dates.
- The yard's own time zone drives "today", reminders and the morning email digest.
- Suggested vaccinations and checks per country: Coggins, rabies, EEE/WEE and West Nile
  in the US; Hendra in Australia; EIA and glanders tests in the Gulf; influenza, tetanus
  and EHV across Europe, in the local language.
- Horse IDs per country: UELN for UK and European passports, breed registration numbers
  in North America.
- Vehicle reminders use the local test (MOT, TÜV, contrôle technique, ITV, APK, US state
  inspection) in miles or kilometres.
- Metric or imperial units, hands or centimetres, acres or hectares, per person.
- Prices are in GBP for now; cards convert at the bank's usual rate.

  a stranger. Content is visible only to the yard, family group or individuals a person
  has shared it with.
- Optional two-step sign-in (an emailed code at each sign-in), available to any user.
- Data is hosted in Microsoft Azure UK South and handled under UK GDPR. The EU recognises
  UK data protection as adequate, so EU yards can use it on the same footing as an
  EU-hosted service.
